The Chicco brand is a part of the Artsana Group, a global leader in the manufacture of children’s products since 1946. The Chicco brand itself was established by Artsana founder Pietro Catelli in 1958 to cater to the growing needs of the “baby boom” generation.
Catelli founded this brand based on product quality, brand identity and the power of communications. With Chicco products like the Chicco C6 Stroller, your children are in good hands.
Chicco C6 Stroller Specifications:
- Dimensions: 33.5 x 19 x 39 inches
- Weight: 12.8 pounds
- Price: $79.99
- seats recline in two positions
- has 5-point safety harness
Light in weight
This lightweight stroller is one of Chicco’s top products. As its name suggests, it has a very light aluminum build. Yet do not let this fool you as it is sturdy.
Its lightweight is also a plus as you don’t have difficulty carrying this wherever you go. The frame is sturdy and you can easily fold this. Because it has a two dimensional folding mechanism, the collapsed stroller can fit easily in the trunk of my car. It’s even smaller than a golf club.
Comfort, security
This product also brings about comfort and security through its 2-position reclining seat and 5-point safety harness. The presence of a front suspension makes rough terrains smooth so that your infant will be smooth sailing when you go hiking in the woods.
A little extras on the side
It is equipped with a compact umbrella that you easily fold. You also get a carry bag and shoulder carry strap to make travel a breeze. There is also a basket where you can put your baby accessories and perhaps some of your things.
The sunshade is very flexible. This means that you can adjust the shade according to whatever angle the sun is hitting the stroller.
Brake location
I don’t like the brakes being located at the two rear wheels. They are stiff and you have to give it a little stomp before they are locked down. You also have to tug extra hard to release the brakes.
Not reclined at all
Although it reclines, it doesn’t recline much. If you are taller than 5’8”, don’t buy this stroller.
You can develop a back problem. The problem is in order to move the stroller, you have to stoop so for down just to touch the handles.
Chicco C6 Stroller At A Glance…
- light in weight
- sturdy
- comes with extra accessories like a bag, canopy, and umbrella
- sunshade is flexible
Cons:
- brakes are stiff
- not for tall people as handle is too low
It may be light, has many good features but at the same time it has defective brakes and is too small for tall people to make use of.
