The company began with a man named Owen Maclaren.  In the days nearing his retirement, his company, Andrews Maclaren introduced the Gadabout which is Maclaren Strollera picnic chair made of aluminum frame.  It features the ability to be folded like an umbrella.  The first baby buggy that also folds like an umbrella became part of the product line when Maclaren’s granddaughter was born.

The Features

While the most basic and common features that a regular stroller has are in the Maclaren brand of strollers, this brand goes even further by providing added features.  The harness feature for all strollers under this brand is five point. 

The seats can be reclined to give more comfort for your baby and it has an extendable footrest as well.  The seating room is large enough for a big toddler to sit comfortably in.  The tires are solid and sturdy, so much so that you can jog with the stroller in tow. 

With the one handed collapse and expand type of system installed in the strollers, you’re ready to pack up and go anywhere in no time.
